I like this store and the fruits and vegetables are fresh but the prices for most items are way more than what you would get at Safeway or Albertsons/Luckys. Deli and meat is excessively high. If price does not matter go there but if you want the best for your money during very trying times, not worth it.

We all know "China Joe has got to go" but did you know in spite of crushing inflation and out of control crime Cal-Mart is a great place to shop. Nice neighborhood market.

My go to this place for meat and vegetables and thats been on a weekly basis lately. I also love that Janes Bakery is right inside the store with BOA rite next to it and Walgreens a few doors down and Standard Ace 2 doors away.. Family Owned operated if iam correct and what else do i need to say....I mean this is one stop shop for me. 5star Thanks guys.

The deli is a deal breaker. They only slice the meat one way, fat and thick. They get visibly annoyed if you ask for your meat shaved. In fact, they're visibly annoyed at you for showing up at all. I remember when working the deli was a respected trade, how you wanted your slices was asked up front, and the first slice was shown for approval, even offered as a taster. There was pride in craftmanship. What happened to delis? Another valuable respected craft is lost. Such a shame. I can grab prepackaged deli meat and avoid the attitude if I'm going to gnaw at slabs of cold flesh. Yuck! I feel like the people slicing the meat don't eat sandwiches. That brick of meat is impossible to bite through, making the sandwich fall apart as the half torn slab gets dragged out and slaps your face. Moreover, the texture is nasty when it's so thick. Lord I miss a New York deli. Anyway, this is a culinary training issue as much as a customer service issue. Better to just skip their deli.

Top Notch Neighborhood Market. Lots of great high-end products like Straus Family Creamery organic milk in glass jars. Great Little Deli with inexpensive sandwiches and pretty good salads. Also check out the Sweet Things Bakery inside. Dee-lish!
